The "barber pole" indeterminate progress bar in Mac OS Classic and early versions of Mac OS X were so uniquely Macintosh. I am super annoyed they killed them.And in Mac OS X, the determinate progress bar had those feint waves animating too -- so elegant.Why are controls so fn boring these days?

Toggling speaker phone should be one tap and instant. This menu always makes it feel like it takes much longer and triggers anxiety. Heh. I’d argue using the speaker phone is different than routing to another device.

Even with AC running, something about just hot days really, really drain me. I’m constantly just worn out. This is why Summer is the trash of all seasons. It’s just awful. I imagine this is what having kids is like — the constant energy drain.

The Titanium PowerBook G4 still looks like a total work of art even 20+ years later.And don't get me started on the art that was Aqua in Mac OS X. Looks playful but still like a serious Operating System -- none of this flat, overly joyful and bubbly bs we have today with stupid overly saturated colors and is completely unusable.Old Apple hardware and software aged like the finest of all wine.

@BasicAppleGuy Modern design took a turn for the worse. OG Apple software design is part of why Apple became so successful. The software was human... now... not so much. Bland. Boring. Devoid of any surprise and delight.

Notice how:1. The titlebar & toolbar have their own row & don't compete for horizontal space (like they do now with unified toolbars)2. The sidebar (née Source List) doesn't eat into the toolbar spacing either because it isn't full height3. The sidebar & toolbar have chrome colors which distinguish it from content UI. Friends and family are texting me exactly how they feel about #LiquidGlass as if I made that decision.I know they don’t really think that but they hate it so much they need someone to vent to.I have yet to get ONE text absolutely praising it. The most positive one I got was me asking my bestie what they thought of the new design and all I got was “it’s fine… it’s annoying but it’s fine.”So much work done. So many new bugs introduced bc of it. Was it worth it?
