Question to Japanese speakers:I often see 曲 and 歌 used almost interchangeably - but am right in assuming that 歌 means that there is some actual singing (ie not an instrumental track), while 曲 could be any piece of music/track, whether it has vocals or not?ありがとうございます！#LearningJapanese #日本語を勉強

I know crows are considered somewhat of a nuisance in Tokyo, but I'm watching Perfect Days right now, and the scenes where you hear the crow sounds take me straight back there.It's like there's no other sound, except perhaps the pedestrian crossing sound, that has the ability to put you straight back into Tokyo.

On yesterday's commute between the office and Japanese evening class, my shifter cable for the rear derailleur snapped (so I rode back home single-speed style 😅).Today I took it to a bike shop, and of course, the chain, the cassette and the derailleur itself were completely knackered (I actually trust this great Chinese guy at the shop, he never tried to sell me stuff if it's not needed, and always finds cheaper options, so I'm pretty sure he's not ripping me off).But given the cost of the tube in London, even this slightly unplanned expense will easily pay for itself. The bike itself is 12 years old and has done about 25,000 km so far. 🚲#BikeCommute

Just saw a Tesla driver go past a red light (not even nearly red, but like red for at least 5 seconds) at a pedestrian crossing and nearly knocking down someone crossing. The spirit of Elon Musk is alive and well.
