@Sigma i would go a step further - at least with cats - that yeah sometimes they're vindictive or haha whatever but 90% of what people think is 'bad' behaviour is a cat acting like it would in the wild. The solution to a cat scratching up furniture isn't to sit down and have a heart to heart with your cat and get it to see right and wrong - it's to give it something WAY BETTER to scratch. Sorry I'm the cat guy always piping in.

@lowqualityfacts one time there was a flood in the Calgary zoo and the hippos could have almost swam over their enclosure at which point they woulda been 10 ft from the river and I thought "this is the first 10 minutes of a horror movie"Nothing scares me more than hippos

@lowqualityfacts I'm Gen X and we had milk delivery til 1982I lived in Canada so in the winter we'd bring in the frozen milk and try to defrost it for cereal if we had none left - a gentle balancing act cause you don't want hot milk

I guess the .party actually stops?! People are saying 'get off party, migrate away'. Well I'm not gonna do that. I'll find another server or whatever and just start a new username. if you follow records you'll find me, I'll let people know, but I'm minimum effort guy. That's a shame. Where the hell should I migrate who has a good admin and what's a reliable server? When I first got my mastodon acct I just chose party because who doesn't like a good party?
