       @mergan It certainly would, in my opinion.Back in twitter, where favorites are hearts, giving hearts to posts feels like saying "ah, that's sweet".In here however, giving stars to posts makes me feel like a 1st grade teacher giving out star stickers to students who do great things.I can see why twitter changed their stars to hearts; the bar is much lower, which gets them more engagement that they can brag about on the quarterly report 😜

       just realized that it has been a year and about 3 months since I joined the fediverse. roughly 8 months later I would delete my twitter account, for this place has surpassed it in a few, but meaningful ways.shoutouts to @srol , @monorail and @mergan for putting cool stuff in my feed when there wasn't nearly as many people to follow compared to today :)
