I stumbled upon Standard Ebooks last year, and they're awesome! @mjg59 Do most conferences have the resources to investigate the situation fully?For example, if person A says person B assaulted them, B denies it, and there are no witnesses or history, what do you do?What if A said B did something, but B claims it was consensual?There are well funded lawyers and courts that struggle to pick apart these situations.

I saw a Microsoft ad earlier for #AI and it showed someone turning five bullet points into a 35-slide presentation.Why not just present your five bullet points yourself? Nobody wants to look at 35 slides whether a human or computer made them.

So much of the consumer #AI use cases cause me to ask: "Does this really need to be done at all?"If you need AI to troubleshoot customer issues, perhaps you need to figure out why your customers have so many issues with your product. If you need meetings summarized, perhaps your meetings need to be fixed.
