I find it amusing, all the people leaving #twitter b/c they fear what Musk might do. It stems from a perceived loss of control, but prior to Musk they really had no control either.Twitter users were at the whim of the twitter CEO/board now Musk. Either way, you can be shut down at a whim. They're just waking up to the fact now.

@kev I think being a dick is fair game too. Not to be encouraged, of course, but fair. Ideally, the dick will receive corrective rebuttals to put him in his place and that too will be in the public square.

@kev @StartpageSearch I feel your pain. I stopped using DDG when they started eliminating Russian search results. (No, I'm not in favor of Putin. Just prefer to filter/think for myself.)

@fatboy not many people are using Facebook anymore, so I guess it makes sense they would cut their losses and peddle their misinformation elsewhere...maybe the metaverse?

@kev love things like this. What are you planning to do with it? I found an old HP laptop that now runs a local Minecraft server for the kids. I had to max out the ram and install Linux mint, but it was so old the memory was like $20.
