@santi I originally intended to use Bloat with snac2, but its built in web client is so cool that I don't even bother using anything else (except for tut for TUI experience). I've slapped a cool CSS over it and use it in Firefox on my phone 🤷

Nowadays… they aren't opposition — nor they represent anybody: neither those staying in Russia, not those attempting to put an end to this, they are left to their own devices… And as a Russian I often feel ashamed of what I see in their articles 😩Latynina is a special case though — at least to me she is. Even a decade ago some were in awe of her articles, but to me it seemed something like ChatGPT's output…

@kravietz @markvonwahlde Before LLMs were mainstream. At times she was quoting early poets or medieval authors and a lot of people were like: "Oh, that is very smart!", but I was always like: yep, this text looks coherent, but is there any meaning to it, do you have any idea what that might mean? Few had an answer, and the ones who had were saying something about the imagery — well okay, but this is supposed to be a political text, WTF 🤷

@ivanhead Держу маленький XMPP-сервер для друзей, но думаю переходить на Matrix — вообще не понимаю хейт в тех-сообществе по поводу него, "This message cannot be decrypted" случается и в XMPP с OMEMO — и по тем же причинам.Плюсы XMPP: prosody может работать на реально старом говне — как в моём случае, а jabberd2 и вообще на пароварке;Минусы: звонки работают только при Меркурии в ретроградной фазе (надеюсь, что использую этот «меме» верно 😅)

@ivanhead Если только для сообщений — идеально! Я настроил prosody и вообще бед не знаю. Компьютеру, на котором это крутится 20 лет — и это не для красного словца сказано, правда 😂Но те же самые друзья захотели и звонки, выдали мне под это старый MacMini — ну попробуем dendrite наверное, посмотрим что будет 🤷А в XMPP звонки… Я некоторое время думал, что это я один такой тупорогий и не могу coturn настроить нормально и чего-то просто не понимаю — но нет, многие пишут, что у всех так.
