@aral Why does that guy 'natively write in English' but then use an AI translator to make it supposedly better English? @joynewacc @donelias

The only people who use the term 'Hard Left' are right wing journalists and people who think they are well informed because they read the work of right wing journalists.

@futurebird I'm sure you could finish a tablet of text within a day, and I'm sure that would have been sufficiently fast.I'm no expert but I imagine they were mainly writing down rules and taxes and things.

@futurebird Yeah, sounds like you'd be best planning roughly the stories out individually, then finding places where they can cross or connect. If you plan them, you'll probably spot more places where you can link them together.

I've not seen Time Bandits. Is it good?I might check it out to determine whether Infinite 2 Minutes is THE best time travel movie. On a podcast they said Primer was the best. I think I've watch a bit of Primer and I think maybe I thought it was crappy, but I'll give it another go.So far Infinite 2 minutes is the best.

On this well known video streaming site there are loads of videos discussing various things about The Beatles, including how things were recorded and who played what instrument on a song.Like, who plays bass on Helter Skelter? The answer's not as obvious as you might think. The bass is really great, so I'd go with Paul personally, but it might have been someone else ...Anyway, they are so uber nerdy, pedantic videos, but I really enjoy them.#TheBeatles

I think musicians have a stronger, more supportive online community than other creatives. I'm not entirely sure why.Creativity is often a solitary affair, so it's normal for creative people to be working on something by themselves.I suppose music is often a collaborative things, so lends itself to working with others.I find the online writing communities a bit puzzling. I don't really get the point and perhaps most other writers don't either, which is why their isn't really much of a community. But maybe there is a community idk.I find writers' communities concerned with asking technical questions, questions about grammar, or story structure. Or they involve challenges that give you something to write that takes you away from what you want to write.I sort of feel any attempt to join in an answer those questions is time wasted that could be spent, y' know, writing the thing you're passionate about writing.I suppose a successful community would involve actually reading and endorsing each others' work. But again that takes you from what you want to read, and people already have massive book piles.idk it's quicker to look at a drawing or listen to a 3 minute song than read an entire novel.idk#Creatives #Music #Reading #Writing

I like the game Dizzy on the ZX Spectrum, but one thing is there's too much having to walk around going on. It's like: when you find an item, why can't you just keep hold of it for the rest of the game? Why do I have to keep jumps this way and that all the time?#Spectrum #ZXSPectrum

I watched on #TOTP Legs & Co do a performance to the Beatles' Paperback Writer by dancing with books in their hands in a circle of books on racks ...And you know what would be a good #puzzle #FediPuzzle ?If someone took a load of Legs & Co videos, removed the sound, and everyone had to guess what song they were dancing to.#FediPuzzles

I'm currently downloading a load of Legs and Co clips and I could easily edit them into small clips to post and for people to guess.I'm not sure how easy some of them would be though.
