@lealternative Per chi fosse giustamente interessato a ProtonVPN, mail etc.. adesso stanno facendo delle buone offerte di black friday e hanno reinserito temporaneamente il piano Visionary con il drive fino a 3TB che era stato sospeso.

@lealternative Bell’articolo, molto completo. Io mi sento di consigliare Bitwarden, perché è Open Source, per la facilità di utilizzo (è su cloud, sincronizzabile con tutti i dispositivi) e non da ultimo per il prezzo davvero fuori dal comune.

@informapirata @informatica Signal non condivide le richieste fatte dalle autorità, ma il motivo mi sembra scontato. Essendo basata in US, qualsiasi richiesta di dati con Gag order gli impedirebbe di parlarne. Sinceramente mi fido abbastanza di Signal essendo open source. (Considerando che comunque purtroppo bastano poche righe di codice per compromettere la confidenzialità delle comunicazioni, e anche che non c’è un controllo così puntuale di tutte le aggiunte).

@protonprivacy Very good! The only downside is that Proton in theory could have access to the content and has no option for external password protection. Basically no more E2E for that element

@protonprivacy Is there a paper/discussion about how PP extra password works in detail? It seems from here that it is not another E2E layer that is protecting the Password Manager data (as said in a recent reddit post where proton offered to remove the Extra Password upon account verification). There are plans, when there is a full Extra Password reset/recovery mechanism, to turn it E2E? Thank you
