@freemoHahaha!He should tread carefully as a god, because I have been known to lay waste to such. I would love to take the likes of him on in a face-to-face debate, except he would not last the first 10 seconds.He is just an NPC. Or at least, that's how it appears here!!!! 6 years ago when I left the US, I did so in part because I could smell something nasty coming in the near future. I had no idea what. @freemo @2ck My word, and I thought I had a lot of GitHub projects. 131, counting both my private and public projects.I may start "migrating" everything more and more to GitLab. Microsoft is starting to piss me off. Gist no longer works on GitHub unless you have a premium account. I wound up doing the equivalent on GitLab.

@freemo At least we'll have the option, and the research looks promising. They are synthesizing the enzyme without the bacteria, putting it more under our control.So the plastic rot scenario is unlikely.

@freemo Did you watch the video? They are engineering this enzyme without the use of bacteria. They needed to boost its degradation factor tremendously over the bacteria to make it useful.The bacteria were discovered accidentally by Japanese scientists, so it is already out in the wild.

@freemo I would imagine that the tenuous "atmosphere" around the moon is much thinner, if for no other reason that it's a lot closer to the sun.Good question, though.
