@msh I'm definitely part of the group just discovering pickleball. Been getting to play at least a couple times a week for 2+ hours and has been great for getting me up and moving more. Quick to pick up but takes time to be good at.Is it a little like a bunch of people finding your secret spot and now there's always someone there when you want to be there?

Mask mandates in the city means no beard trim with my haircut today. A good trim by someone else is so enjoyable for some reason.

@Metruzanca are you doing proton plus or just the free account? I jumped in on proton mail plus and added the vpn with a 2 year commitment. First time ever paying for email and honestly I've been happy with the service and the progress made so far. They seem to get a little hate in the subreddit for how slow things have rolled out but I don't mind. Meets my needs and has been pretty solid.

I got a pour over coffee brewer with reusable stainless steel mesh filter for my birthday today but now I feel like I want an electric kettle so I don't have to boil water in a cooking pot with no spout on my stove like a pleb.#askfedi recommended electric kettles for use with pour over coffee? Hopefully not something ridiculous expensive.

@joel definitely new to jogging. Want to try to do it more consistently. I've done 5ks and stuff before but that feels like forever ago and was normally just as a group for a cause and not because I enjoyed running.
