I noticed a #fosstodon moderator with a history of poor behavior - open bigotry, censorship, even trolling - and contacted instance creators Kev and Mike about it. I also got ignored - no meeting halfway either.https://mastodon.social/@lo__/114370692797365997At the time, I wondered if someone who behaved that badly in public should be trusted by Kev and Mike with the power to censor content and people in private.

To be clear, you're not bothered at all by Carrotcypher's stance in favor of deporting in the US, correct?Or you *are* bothered by it, but you don't believe those publicly held stances are going to affect the way he moderates for you?Moving on, we see that he has a history of censoring information regarding LGBT people in the communities he does moderate. That history is publicly visible. What should we think about that?
