I couldn't find the original shirt, I guess I got rid of it :'( due to not fitting at all any more (had to do this with a ton of clothes).But tried to recreate the pose...At -41kg.EDIT: Content warning as this is cringe, but also I only did this because facebook recommended the 'before' today :P

The more kernel code I work with in C the more I am sold on rust.Having a compiler prevent you doing the dumb shit that is _so easy_ in C is massive, and I keep seeing problems, including security problems, emerge from stuff a smarter compiler definitely could have identified.I am sure rust has problems too, but this stuff is MASSIVE.I already wrote a massive document on vma locking to try to help the rust folk (and us mm folk), now to see if I can help some more in other bits...

@yrrsinn I've never seen a barrier to these kind of areas, and there are none around here.Obviously they don't do live shooting in these bits...There is a separate area however that does have lockable fences and a red flag, and obviously I don't go in there...The woods around here are more for 'outdoorsy' training and newer recruits as I gather.We hear live round shooting around here constantly as we have a ton of ranges, obviously all off limits from the public.Down in Devon I've seen these signs too and again never any barrier.But there is also a big big range for tanks etc. which is closed when training is on.So I guess it depends on where you're at.I'm not so stupid as to walk into a place where I might get shot! Probalby

Struck me, walking through the woods today, peaceful and relaxed, how there are people fighting not so far away in very similar woods, getting shot at, shelled, having drones set on them by people who invaded their country without provocation.Very, very sobering thing to think about.And a reminder that, no matter how peaceful and safe things might seem today, anything can happen tomorrow.
