These kids have the same dadaist disgust as that era, tired of the forced consumption of late stage capitalism. They get regurgitated versions of media their parents loved. They are tired of the forms of creativity they are allowed to consume being chosen for them.So like dadaists of prior era, they lash out against the establishment with organized meaninglessness.
