@fsf and this is why my kids have either Zorin or PopOS in their PCs and Laptops. Only my wife and I can spy on our kids. And if they are informed that we know everything, it's not spying anymore.

@DestinationLinux ok, after a few weeks of not stalking you, I have to intervene here. I love Michael's insights, I am an avid researcher of anything Ryan brings up (which is almost always spot on), but @Jill_linuxgirl is the life and blood of the awesomeness of DL.There, I said it, I know it was toxic, and I'll lose absolutely no sleep over this.OK, now you get a few more weeks of me not bugging you.God bless all 3 of you.

@fsf Do you mean we have until November 21st, 2024? I mean, because why would anyone post this days after the deadline, right? Just confirming, to see if I still can nominate a couple of very awesome projects I've found out there in the wild.

@Venn thanks @Jill_linuxgirl for bringing this up. Now I have more ammo to evangelize my brother in law about Linux and see if he gains a couple of brain cells and finally drops Winblows for his studio work and hobby.

@Linux all those are great, except Fedora and their AI slop allowance. The Fedora Steering Committee (FESCo) approved a policy allowing the inclusion of code generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in Fedora packages. That was an instant migration to CachyOS for me.
