Akiba Maid War was a sleeper hit of the season for me. Only expectation was zany wacky maid hijinks. Ended up getting that and a decent yakuza gangster story using maid cafe's as the vehicle. Choked me out a couple time by surprise. Very good.

@Halo Going rural. Close enough to the city if I need it, but we're talking small town America. Reading the police blotter for the town seems to suggest the worst thing they have going on is parking violations and teenagers caught with weed.
