@ultem @umgeher It is. And on OpenBSD it is /bin/ksh, but in both cases the shells simulate a POSIX bourne shell. On Void Linux /bin/sh is dash, which is funny, because I found a bunch of my OpenBSD /bin/sh scripts breaking, because dash is stricly POSIX bourne shell, and NOTHING more than that.tl;dr: /bin/sh often isn't entirely.

@ParadeGrotesque Windows is in my experience the hardest to get used to, and you never really get efficient.Windows seems optimized for Excel and PowerPoint types. Or anyone who just use one program at a time in full screen mostly, and don't care about tweaking, comfort, things looking nice etc.Non-tech business users, basically.I'll rephrase: Windows is for people who don't care about computers.

@ParadeGrotesque Yeah, softdep all the things, except /, I mount that sync, almost no changes on that filesystem anyway, and you can recover from a lot of trouble with what you have on /.

@tk @bicycling @mastobikes @alrs @pla Maybe Silca? https://silca.cc/collections/frame-pumps-mini-pumps/products/impero-ultimate-frame-pumpStupid expensive, but you can get spares for it for decades, and it will last that long.

@ericbuijs @pla @mastobikes @hollma I have been riding on Mallorca and Lanzarote, and especially on Mallorca the drivers were extremely nice and pleasant to cyclists. It's generally OK here in Denmark too.
