       @Jdreben It's been a word since the middle ages; a variation of "naught" meaning "nothing". Also "owt" meaning "anything". These words never went away in northern England, especially Yorkshire. "Summat" means "something" but that's a more recent evoluton, unrelated to owt or nowt, and more common in the south of England.

       @frank No, because it's home chores, not work tasks, that cause me the majority of my problems. So Mondays (or any other working day) are actually easier for me

       @Glastomichelle Gorgeous pic!  About 30 years ago I tried to take a photo of the Tor in the mist, it looked just like that. Except, when the photos came back from Boots a week later, there was no mist. The filter on my camera lens just cut right through it. I was gutted.

       So I joined a week ago and just realised I goofed by not providing a proper #introduction.        PSA: When someone says "please boost for reach", it means that they need the post to reach a wider audience, perhaps in order to get more answers to a question.
