They'll admit it and say it like it's cute because they're all brainwashed by Will and Grace and Glee. ESPECIALLY young people who now all go through a "homo phase" instead of a normal teenage rebellious phase. People (espeically women) are now going gay to deal with emotional problems.Xeno is gay so the reason she thinks heteros are the majority is because she constantly feels embarrassed and as though everyone is judging her.
