@grainloom @sydneyfalk bold of you to assume I’d recognize a tree only by knowing you saw itthat’s likevaaaaguebut in overall, Budapest has the typical city plants (meaning the ones that can actually survive the harsh conditions) such as -and I’m gonna stick to latin names ‘cause I have no idea of the English ones and I’d be pleasantly surprised if you knew the Hungarian ones- Acer platanoides, Robinia pseudoacacia, Aesculus hippocastanum, Celtis occidentalis, Fraxinus angustifolia, Morus alba, Pinus nigra, Tamarix tetrandra, Platanus acerifolia, Sophora japonica, Populus nigra, etc.We have deciduous and evergreen species as well, though I think we use more of the deciduous ones in the city, evergreens go in parks and gardens and playgroundsAlso please note that most of these species are not native to this region, but were planted for this specific reason

@grainloom @katnjia Sadly, I watched it over at rabbit (or what’s it called) with some online friends and we couldn’t find it with subtitles only with dub.It was HUGE mistake, the English voices sucked so much I couldn’t even begin to explain. The puns didn’t translate at all and I don’t think they tried very hard to make itSo I’d advise you to watch it ONLY with subs, if you can find them that is. I mean, I think the DVDs we own have subtitles but I haven’t checked so idk
