@fsf Are there any K-12 using Foss for classroom management? I just feel like Teachers are overburdened anything that would help lighten the load is worthwhile. I know fleet is doing good Foss work with osquery for mdm but not at the level of other providers.

@Johncdvorak No matter how old John C Dvorak is He will always look 80 Years old. Like you see a pic of him in highs school, he has age spots and receding hair line and ready to tell you about how the young people got it all wrong in WW1. Much LOVE! Stay Cranky.

Here is a shortened version of the text while keeping the major points:The recent meme depicting a smug engineer claiming to "fix the world" with code trivializes the complexities of IT and programming. It suggests that societal issues are merely technical problems, ignoring the intricate web of factors that shape our world. This naivety betrays a lack of understanding about the true nature of our profession. The meme's portrayal of programming as clean, straightforward work overlooks the challenges of maintaining legacy systems - aging codebases riddled with complexities that require meticulous attention. True IT professionals take pride in understanding and respecting these systems, not dismissing them.It also perpetuates the myth of the lone-wolf hero programmer, when in reality, modern software development is a collaborative effort requiring communication, empathy, and knowledge sharing. Effective IT professionals recognize they are part of a larger team.Furthermore, the meme overlooks the vital role of soft skills in the success of IT professionals. Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities are essential for interacting with clients, colleagues, and users. Technical expertise alone is not enough. To aspiring IT professionals, do not be misled by this shallow meme. Recognize that our field demands humility, empathy, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. Treat those around you with respect and compassion, aiming to make a positive difference through both technology and the way you conduct yourself.
