Not sure how to do more to be seen. The fact that I have been actively looking for something to do for money for close to a full six months and had 1 interview seems sad.Hard to believe no one needs #InfoSec people out there considering every news article states there are not enough people to fill roles.Seriously, I will live but it’s a shame people scream about too much work but there is a perfectly good human willing to do it.Make me an offer, contract, full time, part time, remote, in office, travel, I don’t care.#hireme

@historyofpunkrock it was about this time my buddy Alfred wiped out some tape and learned me some Fugazi on the bus to school in 91.My last year of high school just outside DC. 9:30 club, running around, WHFS on the radio. My now girlfriend was part of their early tours in 91-92. We both are huge fans, we more than likely were in the same places back then.

With my sewing skills, I will be sewing patches.Maybe it’s time for a Mastodon Outlaw #motorcycle club.I may have to start the first chapter, design the patches, set the bylaws, and maybe find a brother or sister to ride with.

Cause I am avoiding real work, here is some #alslop #motorcycleLogo and basic patch design. Of course we won’t be a 1% club, more of a 99% club.

@Nonilex according to that text, you don’t even have to be a US citizen to be appointed in this capacity if qualified. So, based on the law alone, they could appoint non-US citizens to the job if they could not fill it with US lawyers.

@Nonilex last paragraph. If an alien can be appointed, any US lawyer that meets the requirements can be appointed, Military officers serve assignments outside the DoD all the time, this is not good but it’s not illegal. It would become illegal more than likely since we know that once this administration does something it will continue to without repercussions, that to me is the more dangerous part. The alarm is justified not for the legal act of appointing judges but the harm it will do once in place. It’s a continuation of the compounding problem of so much is illegal in totality but enacted legally. (g) Citizenship Requirement for Employment.(1) An application to work at EOIR, either as an employee or a volunteer, must include a signed affirmation from the applicant that he or she is a citizen of the United States of America. If requested, the applicant must document United States citizenship.(2) The Director of EOIR may, by explicit written determination and to the extent permitted by law, authorize the appointment of an alien to an EOIR position when necessary to accomplish the work of EOIR.

Just logged into the infosec.exchange webpage vs. Ivory and got a notice to turn on 2FA and I am surprised it was not turned on.If you are on a instance that supports MFA, please make sure your account is setup. If the InfoSec server says it is long past time we do it, you all on other instances need to heed the call.GO SET YOUR MASTODON PROFILE MULTIFACTOR NOW!TL;DR - Mastodon clients may not fully or easily show you server notices, go and login via web, hit the megaphone (or similar icon) on the top of your feed
