Great conversation with Bunnie Huang about freeing people to "rip, mix, and burn" ideas and components into innovations worth having.https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5lZmYub3JnL2hvd3RvZml4dGhlaW50ZXJuZXQ/episode/YzMzZDZmZGMtMGIxNS00YTgyLTgxODEtZjU1NTcxYzUxZWU0?ep=14

@mguhlin You are correct. Not every kid has internet access -- which excludes a lot of kids from STEM. Here's someone doing something about that: https://www.steamconnection.org/aboutTI wants to catch and keep you in their ecosystem with the TI-84 Plus CE-T Python Edition: https://education.ti.com/en-gb/products/calculators/graphing-calculators/ti-84-plus-ce-t-pythonBut someone will eventually open source a graphing calculator with a Python IDE, USB port, etc.

@ColinTheMathmo @josh On a clear summer night it was visible to the naked eye. I was a young kid and it was high Cold War times. It seemed cool to me and I didn't really understand why the adults were so concerned.
