@thor Not a very easy set, but I think the upper notes in particular could be combined into something similar to Pokemon Go, only with the intention of finding actual nice spots (historical buildings, museums, views, etc) and learning about these places. Multiple people at the same place could be given bits of information, so they had to find/talk to others to get it all. Expensive to build, but could leverage open/free services and communities.

@thor Right, but if you were to make or work on that product/service, you may have to go around, read up on and write about history, architecture (aesthetics?) for example? I think this would be a cool product, but of course not sure how viable it would be.

@thor A job that would include variation, go about, maybe some of the others, would be as a service person, e.g. fixing/updating fire suppression equipmen. Travelling salesman perhaps? Includes dialogs.

@gim @ariadne @lanodan @marcan Sad and weird. I started with D back in 2003, and honestly I loved it. By 2005/6 there were issues, mostly about technical stuff not being heard so we started Tango, and I co-wrote Learn to Tango with D. I tried to lead the Tango community with love (and also mod D IRC channel). Not obvious issues of this type back then, but it was also not such an obvious topic in the world around us (and I was probably quite blind to some of it).

@gim @ariadne @lanodan @marcan I remember people having opinions (american right wing/christian stuff) that I had trouble with, but it rarely leaked out in the public channels. And I won't say there wasn't misogyny, because there were really few women in the community. So I guess I'm not really surprised either, but I've seen plenty other community leader take a clear stand, and I guess this is one in the other direction.

@matt Usually the deadline has been set down to 7 before xmas, but I've also noticed that it is still 7 days - maybe packages is so generally up that they need to do this to have the space.
