@10leej @mathstew92 maybe your hard disks are failing? how old are they?i have my old pc that refuses to boot any damn linux distro from usb stick, but i guess it is because of usb stick itself (it was kinda broken before). maybe something like that could happen if hdds or ssds aren't functioning properly?

@10leej @TooTankhaMooN hmm, i think this all could be done pretty much on any distro. the only difference being that it would require manual operation rather than more automated fashion through portage.i like that on gentoo you can remove whole components globally from all software. even though this could be done, for example, in arch, it would be extremely tedious tbh.

hey there!seems that distrotoot is up to some undefined future. so i created my own pleroma instance. not sure how it will turn out, but for now i will move here. it seems that there's no ability to migrate account from mastodon to pleroma, so i'll just start over.i'll be available at @la_ninpre
