       @ActionRetro when I was in high school we had a lab of those G3s. After graduation I landed a job back at the district in the IT department, and sadly I remember sending them all to the recyclers… Funny story about them, though. We never used the term “molar Mac”. Back then we called them the “butt crack Macs”, because our sales rep said they looked like someone sat on the mold. Fun times.

       @nextcloud I’ve been using the “memories” app on Nextcloud, and honestly in my opinion it is superior in every way. I have a very large library of photos, and the default photos app isn’t useful at all as it’d take me hours to even get to the end/bottom of the library, etc. I think (again in my opinion) the devs should roll memories into the default install and make it the standard photo option. It gives it an experience nearly equal to Google photos.

       @nextcloud make “Memories” the default photo app. It’s superior in every single way. It’s already available. Seems like a simple and obvious move.

       @nextcloud honestly, I’d love to see no new features, but instead focus on bugs and performance.  I think the current drive for new features is starting to take a toll on stability and debt.

       @janbeta I wish I had that skill. I have a Performa 638 that’s power supply has such a high-pitch tone that I have to unplug it when I’m not using it.
