@freakazoid Which of us "really understand" someone else's experience? The best we can do is to relate or comprehend. That argument has no ground regardless of race and culture because whoever told you that is assuming that he/she can understand someone else's experience, which is impossible.(Sorry going a bit existential crisis here)

@stux I felt sorry for you, I've similar experience myself as well.But I also felt this is the classic case where police is utilising technology effectively. This is not headline story material, but ffs it's still part of their jobs and I'm sure this happens more often than burglary and impacts more people.

@stux Multiple layers of reasons though.The same app wasn't released in China have something to do with legislation, naming, financial, and censorship. Basically, a combination of historical mess.You might have mistaken that CCP aren't spying on their own people and that's why they have a different app.
