Just discovered kitty (https://sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/). The window/pane configuration is nice for local sessions. Still looking for something as smooth as tmux + iTerm2 integration on mac, but this is a nice step in that direction. Glad Mr. Goyal has time to work on other things besides Calibre.

@brandon I had the opposite experience today. Spent an hour trying to get letsencryot to renew a cert on a site that had been shutdown for a while. Validation kept erroring out and the error message kept saying it was DNS. Finally figured out I'd screwed up the pass in rule in pf.conf for this web host. I didn't even question that it wasn't DNS at first because it is almost always DNS.

@pet84rik if you change the backend used in neofetch to 'kitty' and specify an image you can have it display an actual jpg or png for the logo. From my bashrc: `neofetch --kitty ~/Media/Images/ubuntu_logo_02.png --size 512px`. Of course outside of an X session it won't work, but it's kind of cool to show off when you're screen sharing with coworkers.

@urusan @gabor +1 for freshrss as a docker container for me. Allows me to keep all feeds in sync across multiple devices. I haven't tried miniflux.app.

@blueberry depending on how many servers you're talking about, you might want to look into a configuration mangament tool. There are many to choose from - chef, puppet, ansible. The advantage is that they let you define what state the server should be in and then they work out the details of how to get it to that state. Ansible is probably the easiest to start working with but I find it's YAML configuration language awkward to work with, but simpler to start with. YMMV

@joeligj12 Yeah, correcting a professor's pronunciation in front of the class is probably not the best way to get on his good side. 😉

@kev there have been very few of Sanderson's books that I haven't liked. Mistborn, Reckoners, and Skyward series have been the most fun to read. The Way if Kings is a great series but is so big and detailed it requires more mental energy to follow than I have at the moment. Still a good read if you're up for it

@servant @mike @brianb @vivaldibrowser I was having the same issue when viewing a fosstoson instance as a regular web page, but since I switched to viewing fosstodon.org as a Vivaldi web application I haven't seen the problem anymore.
