You need to be careful calling this the Coronavirus. Coronavirus is actually a *family* of viruses - the Coronaviridae family, which includes MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV-1 (SARS), SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), and the common cold.

Btw, I've actually used Visual Studio Express 2008 a long time ago, so I also have personal experience with this, and it's true that older versions on older hardware were faster than these new versions.

RT from Casey MuratoriWhenever anyone says, "Use an existing engine, don't reinvent the wheel," you know they don't know what they're talking about because wheels go on the bottom of the car. The engine doesn't even go there, it goes in the front under the hood.

Just setup and started an old Windows XP machine with 2 GB of ram. it's crazy how much smoother Windows XP runs on 2GB compared to a newer Windows 10 computer with 4GB of ram.
