@futurebird Grades are useless as feedback tools, I think. If there is one single grade, the only feedback it gives is 'do better' which is pointless, as the student knows that already. If that grade breaks down into grades for different aspects of a test, it makes grading the test (and creating it) a lot more work, while still not giving the level of feedback a student learns most from: words. Describe what and how improvement can be achieved. A lot more useful and empathic.

@futurebird I found this on Youtube: a guide for countertop dishwasher repair; so the one he uses ( Midea Mini Dishwasher ) is repairable, and he may know of other types if you don't like or can't find this one. I feel for you, have the same problem with dishes. Don't want a dishwasher, but...sigh... hand-washing is sooo tedious. I thought it best to limit my dishes, pans, mugs & utensils to only the amount I use in 1 day, but haven't acted on that plan yet..

@futurebird I really would advise against black. From time to time I browse houses (because I can't afford to buy one) and sometimes see black walls or ceilings. Always depressing, imho. Wallpaper is probably difficult with curved walls, probably, but maybe you can look for an artist to do it? Some artists make the most beautiful wall art. Or do the night sky, but through smaller painted windows?

@dcdeejay @Nonilex She just made a speech in Caracas, saying Venezuela is united against an agressor, and that Maduro is the only legitimate president. Was just reported by Dutch reporter Boris van der Spek, who is there, for the Dutch NOS news organisation (the news was reported at the very end of the 8 o'clock news, so the news is from less than 30 minutes ago)

@Nonilex Chances of Trump remembering *anything* decrease by the day, of course. But yeah - there is nothing on paper about this so-called deal, and even if there were, Trump cannot be trusted to honor agreements. He changes his mind every hour. So the best approach to the US right now is caution. They can no longer be relied upon to be an ally in a crisis.
