@jquillin personally I’m laughing my a** off at every review calling the collection so timeless and full of wardrobe basics etc.. when it included pants that zip up the back of your legs to expose your a$$ and pieces that could have been from an espisode of Fraggle Rock. There are lots of other problems but that’s the one I’m stuck on…

@jquillin it’s yet another example of how there is no reward for actual creativity or problem solving/filling a niche with a brand but just pure pay to play…

@jquillin yeah - I mean she’s not remotely an example we should be holding up to look at in a positive way. She is an example of how to use exploitation — in every way.

@jquillin - natural lightweight fabrics like silk tees. Warm you up when it’s cold, can throw the sweater over shoulders if it’s warm later. Silk tees/scarves are key. I posted about this on insta today.

@jquillin I bought the heavy winter weight Barbour. Just as warm if not warmer. Waxed cotton is waterproof/resistant. Still bulky and way heavier but unbelievably warm when paired with boots etc

@jquillin I do lol! There is a whole section on my site. It’s honestly what I’ll prob eventually pare the line down to - just variations on silk tees. Everyone loves them they are dressier than cotton. So warm (I mean it’s the ski layers!) they wear forever and when they wear out then you have comfy pjs (tho I found a great dye house to dye them too)

@jquillin trying to see if I have a full pic of this is the Barbour in the Grand Tetons. I’ll wear leggings and sorrels when it’s cold - super cold I add wool leg warmers if I need to add something to my knees/thighs. It has a double zip. Truly the best coat I’ve ever purchased.

@jquillin - it’s my favorite - all of those - the Marilyn 2 styles more fitted it’s a stretch charmeuse. I’ll be up in a couple weeks - send me a DM maybe we can grab a coffee. I’ll be wearing them I’m sure lol.

@jquillin the other thing I like about this coat is you never see anyone in it.

@jquillin thank you. Sorta full pics - you get the idea - and what I like is you can wear this with a black turtleneck/riding pants or something similar in wool as a nice biz casual outfit.

@jquillin it’s funny I never bought a goyard until I left NYC - and I rarely carry it in NYC bc they are all over 🤣 but I love the bag it’s so lightweight and I can beat the crap out of it.

@jquillin @bowreality — I’ve been obsessed with merino wool since good cashmere is so hard to find these days/is so expensive - have some old ones that are nearly 20 years old and look brand new. For cotton tees I stick with supima for quality (they don’t have the best fit & need to be altered to be stylish) but the LLBEAN supima cottons are great quality for cotton

@jquillin @bowreality merino (if it’s actual merino is soft and smooth). Key is high quality/yarn length. I have found handwashing it softens it too a dry cleaning does not (I have links on my insta on detergents - but there is a German one I found that makes it amazingly soft) I’ll see if I’ve posted (if not I’ll post it today).

@jquillin @bowreality I defo notice a diff washing them at home tho — they get softer. This is the German wash makes stuff super soft Sonett Organic Wool Care for Restoring Wool and Silk, Returns the natural elasticity to woolen fabrics (10 fl. oz) https://a.co/d/f23w00O

@jquillin it makes my eyes twitch and the whole platform feels like you walked into Ollie’s. I don’t see how this remotely jives with actual luxury…
