It would be cool for other artists to be more transparent about that on each post / in your profile description. (To clarify: I know that collagists or photo bashers are in a similar tricky territory - I don't like it when those are in transparent either. But also feel like AI is the most invasive compared to those.)

@thefwguy @wonofone @Gargron @harljo.uk The problem is the term 'AI'. It is way too vague. Whenever I bash genAI, some idiot pops up mentioning how it could advance medicine. As if doctors need all our music, writings, landscape photographs or cringe fan art to cure cancer... This is a confusion and hate that parasitic 'AI' devs with their buzzword PR can be thanked for.

Today I used a rotary tool for the first time. I cut ø5cm blank plastic christmas orbs into the shape I need for the eyes. Honestly a bit scary. I'm surprised you don't have to keep pressing a button for it to run. I case you drop it it would then stop. @tomasino of course there is a minimum threshold, but when someone draws awkwardly, the idea can still entertain or impress. Or there's specific aspects that stand out as great next to the not so well made areas. I still enjoy art of people below my skill level. And often I can't even measure skill because someone has stuff going for them I don't and vice versa.

Over the past few days I saw this guy in the living room first, then in the bathroom, then one morning opened my eyes after hair washing to find this jumpscare directly to my left. This clumsy idiot also fell down into the puddle of water while I fetched a glass. I finally put him outside and later discovered that he's a Nosferatu Spider as Germans call them. (Zoropsis Spinimana) I found him quite pretty, but he's the type of fast spider that still spooks me a lot.
