@Zoidtes @curtis just as with any operations there are risks especially of infection - that can be deadly if it’s not performed sterile - yet it also prevents some conditions that can occur. I actually know about a hand full of men who had problems that could have been prevented by circumvention.

Different languages seem to fit better to different music genres. I like Dutch in rap, but for Metal Swedish just suits it better. And reggae in German is best in a heavy Bavarian/Austrian dialect.Do you have any favorite music genre/language matches?

Ich wurde jetzt in meinem Leben öfter auf dem Weg von Deutschland nach Dänemark von der Polizei kontrolliert als auf dem Weg von den Niederlanden nach Deutschland.Aber noch viel öfter auf dem Weg nach Bayern, innerhalb Deutschlands.

The feediverse is not perfect, but I just love how it became a community that even though it’s quite self-referential became a place where thousands of people discuss practical issues with federation related problems and experimentally work in a utopia of how social media could be.

@aral I don’t care about the number of followers but I do care about the personal connections lost. I recently lost about 50 followers over night and now can’t follow people on mastodon.social any more, that sucks. Some of them were mutuals from Twitter I valued talking to. Loosing a part of my social graph does hurt, emotionally. I’d be happy if we could find ways to avoid these kinds of things!
