       @friendlymike I've had experience with both. VMs are faster to build but the download-and-flash experience is very inefficient, especially if you are going to be doing this multiple times a day. Dedicated hardware is a much better option.When I was working on this AOSP builds on Mac was not officially supported. It might have changed now.

       @friendlymike @benbloodworth I draw the line at making fear the primary motivator. At that point where the tech that is going to replace humans is not even understood well. At the point where the companies that are ostensibly putting out the tech that will replace humans are doing so not because it solves a problem but because the competition got something out the door. I draw the line where the tech that's supposed to replace humans is shoved into places it doesn't belong.

       @MishaalRahman I have the FP3+. It went straight from Android 11 to Android 13, skipping Android 12.I wonder whether 5 OS updates for FP5 could be spread over 8 years.
