@lowqualityfacts If you can convince the right people in the US government and military that Fishy is actually an avatar for a gigantic oil field and that he needs a giant wall of cash to protect him they would probably give you *10* billion.Of course the more likely outcome would be an invasion of your home and fishy being "rescued" to a secure facility*.* a cat castle deep in the bowels of the pentagon

@wjmaggos @renchap A Wise account would do that.http://wise.comPeople could transfer directly to local bank accounts in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, CAD and SGD and a few others with no middle man and no card processing fees.

@Radical_EgoCom I think it is even worse than that. The centrist position is more like;'Sorry lefties but because of your uncompromising extremism you are forcing me to side with them'

@stux http://www.wise.comOpen an account for free and create accounts for all the currencies you need to accept. You can have local bank details for:AUD, NZD, CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, SGD and a couple of others. With local bank details people can do a simple EFT to you with no fees. You can convert currencies at the current market rate and send money with very low fees much faster than telegraphic transfers. Sometimes international transfers are instant. You can also get a visa debit card to access your funds from anywhere. It doesn't replace being able to accept card payments of course but you also don't need to deal with third parties and middle men and it is another option. It is always good to have options.

@aral They are acting quite like Russians currently but for most of the history of the US they had a department of war. They've just gone back to their roots.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_War
