Have been pondering this sign from yesterday’s bike ride.

Wrapping some presents tonight and this wrapping paper makes me laugh so hard. #DnD

@ascentale #BikeNitePQ My city is doing a major transit referendum this fall. So far, the plan has unfortunately been vague on detail for cycling infrastructure. One thing they are pushing is “smart lights” so drivers spend less time sitting at red lights when there isn’t cross traffic. Does anyone have experience with these kinds of lights from a bike perspective? I’m looking for resources that aren’t car-centric to learn more.

Enjoyed playing two chapters of Yazeba’s Bed & Breakfast from Possum Creek Games, a GM-less RPG with a cozy vibe. Very dependent on the people you’re playing with, and we had a good group today. I can see it really appealing to people who like books like Legends &Lattes. #GenCon #TTRPG

Things I do on a bike that I would never do in a car (or tbh on foot): invent reasons to extend my ride for a couple of extra blocks when biking home from a meeting. #BikeTooter

Really starting to wonder about getting rid of our car. We’ve used it less than 5 times this fall and it just cost us $650 because the battery was 5 years old and needed replacing. Plus the cost of insurance. I was thinking, eh, what does it hurt to keep the car around… but owning it and not using it still has costs.
