@scanlime can I just host a peertube box to distribute from? What would be an easy way to do that?

@scanlime @peertube Excellent. I have both public video and personal that I would like to be able to distribute and consume from multiple sites.I like the OBS > PT as well. We stream Sunday mornings and haven't found a good backup to Youtube.

I don't know how many of you remember, but I have the fanciest camper vent for my greenhouse. Like 300+ bucks (WTAF, who spends that money?), and honestly worth every penny. I did a deep search over a year ago on researching how to have a hardwired controller for it and found promising pictures of the official controller board PCB. I spent the afternoon checking with a voltmeter and can confirm I know the mappings and will have an #esphome controlled vent in my #homeassistant in a day or two. Bonus: I have two vents. Let the growing season begin!

Just spent an hour updating my #esphome code and my #HomeAssistant frontend for my greenhouse vent controller. I appreciate some of the advanced coding features available, but internal variables and being able to set additional attributes are... Hard to impossible for me at the moment. Also, WTAF about fans only having "forward" and "reverse"? I want up/down and in/out as options as well.More tinkering required, but at least I got 100% reliable on/off state, and exposed each fan's direction control in the front end.
