@Linux @ubuntu Contrary to popular opinion, immutable distros may have better integrity but they are not more secure. Generally attackers do not leave trails on the hard disk but only in memory and if anything immutable distros increase the exposure of exploitable binaries. If attackers do wish to be persistent then the locations that rootkits could hide are increased and complicated by immutable systems.
