#introduction time! I’m 53 & living in southeastern Pennsylvania, having had two careers and pondering a third. 12 years in IT morphed into 16 years of tech blogging / podcasting & a 1.5 year stint at Google. Currently blogging about #chromebooks & #chromeOS on my own. Also covering #IoT on the side. Slowly learning #javascript through a formal program, just… because. 12 years of battling #depression to make life even more interesting. 😉 I enjoy riding, #LiverpoolFC and all things #Beatles.

I have the $599 eco-friendly Acer Chromebook Vero 514 and… it’s unique! I’m taking your questions in advance of my full review. Here are some first thoughts and impressions.https://www.aboutchromebooks.com/news/acer-chromebook-vero-514-what-do-you-want-to-know/

@ondra Yup, that’s what I was looking for in this case.

@ondra I am although I don’t use it. I have VS Code installed on my Chromebooks, where it runs well. I should try vscode.dev on some of the entry level devices that have fewer resources though. 🤔

@ondra Oh, that wasted space goes completely away in full-screen mode. I guess I'm used to it having used Linux desktop apps on a Chromebook since 2018. 🤷‍♂️
