There seems to be a sadness about the way things are going. Many of are here to find a better solution to social media. Others, like myself, like to try new things when it comes to apps and tech. Consider this: all of our #tech is ideated by flawed humans, designed by flawed humans, and run by flawed humans. The reason social media turns wild and unruly is because it’s filled and fueled by #flawedhumans. (1/2)

Mastodon existed before droves of people flocked here seeking solace or new territory. In a sense, we’re colonizing it and if we don’t bring an attitude of #humility, #kindness, and #love, we will set this place on fire too. There’s plenty of darkness on display in the world.
