       @futurebird in the early days (early 2000s) OKCupid in particular felt more like a community of (often nerdy) people, many of whom happened to be looking for dates.I feel like there's an opportunity now for a similar kind of fedi community, where there is an expectation that folks are there to flirt and make connections, but no profit motive distorting the scene.
