@pink I enjoyed it very much. For me, it wasn't quite the rush that the original Wonder Woman was but it was still fun and I'd see it again in theaters eventually, if I could. I watched it streaming on HBO Max.I will say I will purchase it, when it becomes available on Amazon, for my streaming collection.

@pink I think 90% of the pacing problems I heard complaints about were due to 2 villains and how the story tried to dovetail them together. I think they did some disservice to both of them, especially her museum compatriot, with whom WW has a full blown relationship in the comics.

Between December 1860 and June 1861, the United States Senate EXPELLED 10 senators for refusing to recognize Lincoln's election and aiding the sedition of southern states, and for conspiracy against the United States and its constitution. On January 6th, the GOP senators and representatives SHOULD BE EXPELLED and lose their seats permanently. There is historical precedent for this.https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/minute/Ten_Senators_Expelled.htm

There are a lot of fake progressives now, mainly white, who are whining that Biden has not changed anything. Could things be better? Yes. But to do false equivalence with Trump level pure evil is, to me, a sign that someone is being an intentional troll.

This is a major pro-Trump think tank. They are shaping the thinking of the Ted Cruzes and Josh Hawleys of the future GOP.Here, they literally say there is nothing left to conserve, that anyone that voted against Trump should be "re-educated", that all existing democratic systems should be "smashed".This is what the GOP is today - fascism, willing to resort to political and physical violence to get its way in order to protect white supremacy.https://americanmind.org/salvo/why-the-claremont-institute-is-not-conservative-and-you-shouldnt-be-either/

"On Joy Reid's show I stated point blank that the GOP is no longer a political party but rather a white nationalist, authoritarian movement that has rejected democracy. I'm not being hyperbolic. This is where we are as a nation." — Dean Obeidallah, (Liberal Radio Host)

@gus @TonyStark Gus, show me how many elected Republicans at the federal level do not support Trump (at least in public). You can count them on one hand. Trump HAS taken over the GOP. The GOP is openly racist, anti-semitic, homophobic, transphobic, and Islamaphobic. Over 60 GOP House members ran on platforms that were based on QAnon lies. There is no GOP to "talk" to. It's a hate machine that runs on pure propaganda intended to incite fear into ignorant voters with the promise that only GOP politicians, and then only Trump supporting Republicans, can protect them from what they fear. That's it. That's the entirety of the GOP in 2022. There's no "middle" left to discuss anything with.If you think the GOP is not what I just wrote, then you're privileged enough to have not already targeted you or people like you. But they will. Count on it.

@gus @TonyStark And if you think I exaggerate, please tell me what the GOP party positions are on:1. Healthcare2. Infrastructure3. Reducing the deficit4. Public education. You can't, because there is no party consensus on any of those things. The GOP has had 12 years since the ACA passed to propose something else. All they've got it "repeal, allow pre-existing conditions, and you can die" as a position. This is exactly why the GOP has refused to even put forth a party platform document anymore! They have NOTHING left but lies to incite fear. Nothing.
