You wanna make a mentally healthy person crazy, force him to use #twitter two hours daily for three months.Everytime I go to twitter within a minute I run out of Fs and I literally can feel that my mental health is deteriorating.

I am a type of #geek #nerd that lost interest in cartoons when was 10-11 years old. The last cartoon I watched was 17 years ago, Lion King 1.5.Never ever liked anime or comics, never watched or read one.Lost interest in games around 2005. The last I played a lot and enjoyed was Red Alert 2. Though played Call of duty until 4-5 years ago but was limited to 1 time play.I am a computer/electronics guy though, #coding, #Linux and hardware. I truly enjoy problem solving and messing with things

@lightweight - Some of it is purely political. Like to encourage a company to open a branch, or getting paid to lobby for a product, etc.I recommend (if not already) read the story of Munich city council yo-yoing between Windows and Linux.

I don't think C will never ever be replaced.1. It's an established language.2. It's a minimalist language.3. Its community barely adds or removes a feature.Thus backward compatible (Chad level). A C code written 20 years ago (if ANSI) can still be compiled with (almost) no effort.What language can offer that?

I like #Ubuntu but them turn every single app to Snap is unreasonable.The new candidate is #Firefox. Aliasing apt install XYZ to snap install XYZ behind the scene is especially questionable. That takes away users freedom to choose. Though it may not be in direct contrast of FOSS fundamental values, it doesn't match well either.

@stux - I don't have a problem as long as #facebook #meta makes its federated codebase FOSS open source.Otherwise, they will flood a billion people in a single instance safeguarded by proprietary software, monopolize the fediverse and defeat the entire point of the federation. We should be ultra careful and not let it slide like what happened to #reddit in 2017 when got closed source.
