       I was trying to find out if there's a good way to disable C-q to quit firefox because I was hitting it a lot when I was trying to close tabs and 1) there isn't 2) here's the solution https://github.com/sasawat/firefox-ctrl-q-workaround

       today's discovery: While amixer will stop you from increasing the volume at 100%, pactl will happily let you go as high as your sound card can put out, even if that leads to nightmare clipping and being able to hear your headphones after you throw them across the room in panic.
