Honestly, the way #Threads is evolving right now, I can absolutely understand why so many Mastodon instances are already blocking Threads before it becomes part of the #Fediverse.For over a year now, I've known how social media can be and how social it really could be. In less than two weeks Threads has managed to become a brown swamp of anger and hate speech.If this hits the Fediverse, then all the moderators' work over the last few years will have been for nothing.Threads is simply turning into a racist, trans-hostile, homophobic swamp due to a lack of moderation.As a moderator of my Mastodon instance, I was one of the few who was against blocking threads directly without having seen anything of it. Now I would very much vote in favour. (And I'm glad we voted for the block already together with the community)A lot really needs to happen for Threads to earn a place in the Fediverse. If it will ever happen. (Doubt)

A six year old girl on the playground said my nails are pretty. 🥰 (I painted them black yesterday)But hers were pretty too. Blue with sparkles ✨ First she was confused why a man has painted nails. I just said "I like it better" and she replied with "Oh, that makes sense. Me too!". I love how easy this topic is when you talk to children.

@pixel No idea how I would use it but I love the idea!I think it would be great if a dialogue would be shown if you hit the limit. Content could be:- Show all tabs by title, when I click one the new tab closes and I move to the clicked tab- A button to close all existing tabs of the page and start over with the new tab you just opened- A "Fuck it, I'm done" button that just closes all the tabs and starts with a fresh one (with the option to "block" the URL for X amount of time)

@pixel After I wrote my list of ideas I saw this extension in my daily life. I have so many tabs open when I work that I already opened in another window. It would be great if I get a reminder instead of opening the same instance of Linear the fourteenth time. 😅

@pixel Will it be open source? Then I could just make a fork (or pull request, if you want this as an optional feature) and implement it, when your idea is finished. 😊I'd rather have an info why something happens and an action interface than just let something happen I might not notice. 😁

No idea, haven't heard of it for about a year). Bluesky and Mastodon somehow seem to coexist. But Threads was a huge bubble that popped as fast as it appeared.

@cryptgoat @blossius Moment. Alle neuen Ikea-Geräte können auch Zigbee? Das war mir neu und außer dem Beitrag finde ich dazu auch nichts. Auf der Eigenen Website ist Ikea ja leider sehr verschlossen. Dass es nur Thread kann, war für mich bisher der Grund, warum ich die Geräte ignoriert habe.Wenn ich sie aber auch in mein bestehendes Zigbee-Netzwerk kriegen kann, wäre das ideal.
