@BrentToderian Lately I've seen drivers (in the US) going at least 10 (16kmh)mph over the posted speed limit in all speed limit zones, from 30 mph (48kmh) zones to 75 (120 kmh)mph zones. One car passed us going at least 100 mph (160kmh). It doesn't surprise me at all that pedestrians here are dying at a higher rate.

@TonyStark The GOPare creating the situations they fear. Did you see the metrologist over on Twitter last week that went on a rant about almost killing a neighbor kid for daring to ring his door bell in 2023!? The kid was looking for its lost kitty....The fear mongering is working the way the GOP wants, to the detriment of the rest of us.

There is only 2 ways this occurred; an employee of the hospital or a hacker. The most serious issue other than the illegal records leak? A state AG using those illegally obtained records to prosecute parents and doctors. Believe people when they reference genocide because this is how its has historically been achieved. @stux That was so fascinating to watch. (Yea, I watched multiple times!) It really demonstrates the chemical reaction going on and how fire doesn't actually touch the material burning.

@markmason @Ea7krc @Npars01 @pseudonym Yes, it was probably close to that. A new toaster in 1938 was about $2, the difference is; that toaster still works. I inheirted my grandparents Sunbeam T9. I have had 2 other toasters that have had the wires break in just a few years of use. Today's manufacturing is based on planned obsolescence.
