@foone you’re sure that is a tool, and not a game posing as a tool?

@foone all OS X derivatives (including iOS and iPadOS) have always been able to display and print TIFF files natively since probably the first developer releases (for sure the Mac OS X Public Beta; it seems it was part of OPENSTEP*), so probably that covers a lot of area, together with libtiff having been in Linux since at least Slackware 8 (before delving into the way back machine).*I found a link to libtiff 1.7 for OPENSTEP at https://ftp.nice.ch/pub/next/unix/graphics/_imagetools.2.s/imagetools/src/_netpbm-1mar1994/netpbm/libtiff/ which I guess dates it to prior than 1994; probably TIFF support was there for Mac OS Rhapsody as well… which brought me to https://netpbm.sourceforge.net/history.htmlI feel properly nerdsniped 😉

@foone things were pretty killable on classic Mac OS/System 7…The difficult thing was keeping them alive 😉
