       @alexelcu the fact some american VPs and CEOs were loud about GDPR proves without a doubt the regulation works. If it had no effect there would be no reason for them to spend so much effort spreading FUD.

       @killyourfm no they don't. They pay based on the % their revenue based on the % of streams an artist represents relative to the total number of streams. Aka if you're 1% of all the streams, you get 1% of whatever Spotify pays to all the artists. Also Spotify does not pay artists directly.

       @killyourfm your message is misleading because there are no direct relationship between artist revenues per stream and artist revenues.

       @killyourfm I suppose they all made a ton of money before Spotify? Have a look at the music industry revenues before and after Spotify came to exist and see if maaaayyybe Spotify is not responsible for how terrible this industry is.
