       @jeff if more and more brands start standing up servers, I am curious about what the overall sentiment is on promoted content from the accounts on those servers, especially if it is product or service oriented.

       @jeff I guess the question is how do we treat corporate accounts on public fediverse servers and corporate servers on the fediverse, are we going to permit clear advertising posts or are we going to create servers/lists specifically if we want to opt-in follow those accounts.

       @jeff that's certainly true, but what I am curious about is since we are dealing with an open source, and overall not-for-profit network of hosts, what is the underlying feeling about allowing such content in general? I think we certainly want brand representation, but what is deemed informational from them versus advertising? Or exploitative?

       @jeff For example, if we take major brands with viral activity such as Taco Bell, or Steak-Umm, which have content other than pure product promo, I think those can be fun to engage with.
