Hi everybody It’s 29 December and 2 days left to the end of the 2025 I never like to remember the year 2024, nor even 2025, bc of the hardships my family & I faced. Being displaced more than 10 times, carrying our exhaustion & sorrow. I don't want to remember that I lost my aunt who raised me, my closest uncle , my grandma, & my cousins. Everything makes mewanna cry. But the part that makes me smile is that I joined Mastodon & met friends who’re more than wonderful, supportive soldiers🤎#gaza

I don't know why I often get this feeling of unworthiness, and this is the first time it has happened to me. I feel like I don't deserve a better life away from the shelling and destruction; I don't deserve to leave an area full of disasters and gangs. @Nourfuturedr and my cousin are on a tour around the city.Finally, and after many attempts, I managed to convince Nour—who was buried in her studies—to set her books aside and take a small tour of the place. If the world still cares While the world moves on, we remain awake, haunted by the relentless sounds of shelling & explosions. These acts are being carried out under the guise of "demolishing buildings for urban expansion" & "reconstruction plans."Last night was particularly brutal. The heavy bombardment drowned out everything except for the piercing screams of children living in tents surrounding the tower. At least they weren't living on sidewalks or inside tents; there was never a poor person living in a tent. I recently watched a video of a #journalist asking a young girl in #gaza abt her dreams. She described how her dreams are distorted; dreams of nothing but shelling, destruction, fear,& #horror Oh my girl! Even those of us older than u have lost control,& we dream of nothing but pain.Yesterday, I woke up feeling dizzy after struggling for my life in a dream. This is our room's wall. My sister, who is studying medicine, has filled it with motivational phrases to help her keep going. This started bc she once overheard my mom & me talking abt the costs & whether we’d be able to cover all of her tuition fees, which left her feeling discouraged. I’ve become deeply exhausted, both physically and mentally, these days. Unfortunately, I cannot find the peace of mind needed to return to writing. My head is full of poems longing to be set on paper, but I am caught between helping my mother and siblings light the firewood & then cleaning up the soot. We spend the rest of our day living in constant tension; we might have enough to eat today, but the uncertainty of tomorrow and the day after haunts us.#gaza #genocide #palestine #help

@aral From his perspective, he claims he wants to know who is stealing donations in Gaza's name, but this is none of his business as long as he is actually receiving support. @aral On a personal level, I am the eldest daughter and the primary assistant to my mother, who is a 'single mother' and our sole supporter. I decided to stand by her side and ask for support from the whole world because my two siblings and I are university students. If we don’t pay our tuition, we will fail, as the exams model will be closed to us.3/4

@aral Furthermore, we live in an apartment that is admittedly damaged, but if we don’t pay the monthly rent, we will be evicted onto the street, not to mention the costs of food and drink.Many questions have crossed my mind as Nabil, but I have never been overcome by greed.
